The Boston Selma Leadeship Project

Celebrating and committing to action on the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rigths Act of 1965 must be seen as an opportunity for all citizens.  The right to vote was won by the blood of those heroric people who marched for the right to vote in the South and across the nation. The blood of Jimmie Lee Jackson. Rev. James Reeb of Boston.  Viola Louizo of Detroit. Goodman, Shwerner and Cheney during the Mississippi Freedom Summer Project led by Bob Moses in 1964.
